Overview

As we navigate the post-COVID landscape, it's evident that challenges persist, impacting our well-being both personally and professionally. At the forefront of these challenges is the looming threat of psychological burnout, leaving us overwhelmed and distressed.

Our Enhanced Preparedness Training – Basic is aimed at helping participants gain control over their ability to cope with life's challenges.

 

Background and Introduction

Session 1 - Mind care

Mind care - provides a foundational approach to the SLP by providing you with the guidance on applying practical techniques, for better mental health, everyday.

Session2 - Relaxation

Relaxation - provides an interactive and engaging session on how to apply relaxation techniques in your everyday contexts, highlighting it's benefits.

Session 3 - Team Care

Team care - provides valuable insights into the role and importance of working with teams to achieve wellness, amidst complex team dynamics.

 

Aims

To promote efficiency, effectiveness, and safety under prevailing circumstances through self-care and team-care.

 

Goals

1. Promote a sense of mental robustness and agility.

2. Promote a sense of calm.

3. Promote a sense of efficacy.

4. Promote a sense of team connectedness and collaboration.

5. Promote a sense of hope.

 

Method

What can we practically do to enhance our mental robustness and agility?

Controlled breathing, relaxation techniques, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and promote constructive self-conversations.

Traning and mindful self-care.

Team identity, team cooperation, team pledge, and team bonding and team care.

Cognitive strategies: challenge feelings of helpnessness; monitor, challenge and re school own thoughts.
