Unit for Continuing Education

Course Objective:

To provide participants with the knowledge, hands - on computer experience and skills in the use of an accounting computer programme.

Course Content:

  • Creating a new company - the Setup Assistant
  • Maintaining general ledger accounts
  • Maintaining Supplier Accounts
  • Maintaining Customer Accounts
  • Opening Balances take-on (General Ledger, Stock, Debtors & Creditors)
  • Processing Supplier Purchases
  • Processing Customer Sales
  • Inventory Month End Procedures
  • Processing Journal Bathes
  • Processing Cash Book Batches
  • Reconciling The Bank Account Reporting

Course Date & Duration:

  • Date to be confirmed (every Monday & Wednesday evening)
  • This course will commence over a period of 3 weeks, i.e. 2 evenings per week, 17:30pm - 20:30pm
